CipherOS is a free, open-source operating system based on Android™, meticulously crafted to elevate the mobile experience. Built and maintained in the open by a community of passionate developers, CipherOS strips away the unnecessary so that what remains is exactly what you need: a fast, clean, secure Android experience that puts you back in control of your device.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple and unwavering: to provide users with a clean, bloat-free, and sturdy mobile experience, with an interface that soothes your eyes and an architecture that protects your data. We believe a phone should be a tool, not a surveillance device. We believe software updates should arrive on time. We believe ads have no place in your operating system. And we believe these things shouldn't be premium features. They should be the baseline.
Privacy & Freedom
CipherOS does not collect telemetry. It does not embed advertisements. It does not phone home. There are no analytics SDKs hidden in our system applications, no behavioral trackers, no hidden account requirements. The entire source code is publicly available on GitHub, auditable by anyone. CipherOS is, and will always be, free as in freedom, and free as in price.
